Besties....

I love this picture! The hand on the left is Liz's and the one on the right is mine. We've been kinda struggling through our friendship these past couple weeks. Its been hard! But today I realized as we've been talking about what we're going through...these struggles...have brought us even closer! Who would have thought we could become any closer than we already were?! lol. I am sooo blessed with such amazing people in my life! Especially my close friends and family!

candy, nakedness & the contents of a purse....

the candy: i love peanut butter! Reese's is the best...Reese's peanut butter cups, Reese's pieces, Reese's crispy crunch bars...you name it! I've also been on a Twizzler's cherry bites kick. I don't usually like Twizzler's brand...I'm definitely a Red Vines girl! I threw in a Peanut Butter Twix bar...just to kinda go outside my usual candy picks. I'm not into sweets really...I generally prefer a bag of Dorito's... but that night was a candy night...and yes I ate them all! :D

nakedness: Naked drinks are the best! I LOVE the strawberry banana and the mango orange flavors!

the purse: its a scary thing actually. I just have the my essentials thrown into what is generally known as a purse but what is really the land of the lost! My essentials are simple but i can't leave the house without them. My number one essential being my chapstick...I have two flavors that i like to use; my cherry flavored Chapstick brand and also my Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm (not pictured). I have to have my lotion (current lotion of the moment is Bath and Body Works' Aromatherapy Stress Relief, Eucalyptus Spearmint). Yeah...its intense stuff! haha. I also have Burt's Bees peppermint foot lotion. I always carry that with my during summer because i only wear flip flops and any open toe/heal type of shoe...which means my feet get super dry and yucky unless i keep them moisturized! I have my favorite body spray in "the purse"...its Degree for Women Delicious Bliss Body Mist. The scent just recently came out and i fell in love with it so i also have a miniature deodorant by the same brand and same scent! I ALWAYS need to have a pack of gum in my purse...if I run out of gum before i have the opportunity to replace it, i carry my toothbrush and toothpaste. My journal is a huge part of my life. I carry it around with me "just in case". Just in case i hear a song i like and need to write down the title/artist, in case i think of something i need to do and don't want to forget, in case i hear something quotable, in case i'm stuck somewhere and need something to do. I LOVE writing in my journal! Its very therapeutic for me. I also always have my camera AND the USB cord in my purse. I like to keep my work badge in my purse as well because i will forget it if i don't. if i don't have my badge i can't get into work...if i can't get into work i don't get paid, if i don't get paid i don't eat...if i don't eat then ya'll better watch out! haha. And last but not least i of course keep my keys and wallet in there at all times!

night drive...thoughts...

One of my all time favorite things to do is go for a drive...have music blasting...windows down...going fast or slow...depends on my current mood. The other night both Lizzy and I were feeling like it was a driving night. We put in some chill music and left. We were feeling like a city drive more than a country drive...so we headed towards Salt Lake. We stopped at the gas station to get some goodies! :D We both turned our phones off, turned the music up and left. It felt like it was just us in the world! We both ended up being lost in our own thoughts just enjoying each other's company. I couldn't help but smile the entire time. We drove past the Salt Lake Temple and it is still as breath taking as it was the first time I saw it! It was such a peaceful night...which was exactly what we both needed.

my weekend was...

AWESOME!!!!

I had another fun filled week! Wednesday night Liz and I hung out with some really amazingly attractive boys from Mesa, Az. We watched the Laker's vs. Nuggets game, went to sonic, tossed a football and then played glow in the dark Frisbee. It was a lot of fun! Liz and I didn't get home till midnight...I totally had to get up at 5 a.m. for work! ahaha. One of the boys, his name is Brad, totally asked for my number!! woohoo! He wanted me to come back over to watch a movie or something but I had to sleep. lol. Thursday Lizzy and I went four wheeling with our friend Anna and her 2 year old daughter. We had a blast! It was such a beautiful day to be outside and I loved every minute of it! Afterwards Lizzy and I went home and got ready to go 80's dancing. Friday was a chill day...I got the day off and so I enjoyed sleeping in and relaxing! I went shopping with my friend Bree...just for companionship...I ended buying two pairs of 100 dollar jeans (Big Stars) for 5 dollars each! YEAH!!! It was the best buy I've ever had! EVER! Later that night Brad texted me and wanted to see if I would like to watch a movie after he got off work. I was pretty excited and of course said yes! We watched Bedtime Stories...a very very good movie! Loved it! Saturday was another chill day. Brad and I planned to go swimming at my pool. We decided to get a little something to eat before hand...he totally came and picked me up on his scooter! ahhhh! I'm not gonna lie...I was totally scared at first but quickly fell in love with it! I had way more fun riding on the scooter than anything! lol. After eating we went to the pool and talked and just enjoyed the sun! Later that night Liz and I went bowling...I lost. I always loose. haha. After bowling we went over to the Mesa boys apt. and watched this weird show on t.v. and then had a little dance party! It was a ton of fun! It was definitely another fun filled week!

Me showing how much I LOVE milk! I go through a gallon a week...it only lasts a week because my roommates get onto me for drinking it too fast. I can't help it! If I had my way I'd go through a gallon every couple days...

Aspen, she has the coolest, sweetest, funniest personality! I love this little girl and wish she were mine! haha! And oh those eyes! I did everything and anything she wanted because of those eyes!
