Christmas!

Just so everyone knows...Kenny was completely spoiled this year for Christmas.

As predicted. Hehehe!!!

Winter Walks...Runny Nose and All!

Kenny is fast approaching his first birthday. I am having a hard time believing that its been 10 months since I brought my precious 9 pound bundle home. He has changed so much and has learned so many things!

Kenny at 10 months old:
 -He feeds himself and others.
-He crawls up the stairs, stands on his own, and loves walking while holding onto just one finger now.
-He is a hefty 23 pounds and 13 ounces.
-He has eight teeth.
-He wears sizes 12-18 month clothes.
-His favorite shows are Baby Einsteins and The Colbert Report.
-He LOVES Gerber's Graduates Sweet Potato Puffs and is only satisfied with at least 4 in his mouth at a time.
-His favorite toys are cups (he loves "drinking" out of them), balls, and anything he is not suppose to have (such as my phone, the remotes, Mick's xbox controllers, and scissors).
-Some of his other favorite things are:
      *walking with the duck walker
      *watching mom run in place and do jumping jacks
      *Grandpa Swenson's glasses and hats
      *baths! He LOVES taking a bath and will try to climb into the tub on his own.
      *doors. He really enjoys opening and shutting the door or swinging it back and forth.

Our Kenny boy is just so much fun these days and I am loving watching him grow! I am so excited for his birthday! Kenny and I decided to try out chocolate cake for his first b-day. Yes...I am already planning his 1st birthday party. Will he remember a single thing. No. But I will. Hahaha!

 

Dream Catcher Baby

I have not been happy with the name I chose for my online business. "Little Finch". No. I haven't been a fan. After months of scribbling and trying out different names for my stuff I have finally made the final decision!!! I wasn't even thinking about the boutique when I came up with this name. I was simply looking at pictures of Kenny. I came across this one.

I thought to myself "Aw! What a sweet little dreamer". Then I was thinking the words "Dream Catcher Baby". I don't know where it came from but I immediately got up and wrote it down on paper. I scribbled it across my note book and all of a sudden I had a vision of what my online boutique could be! It has been so exciting and I haven't stopped thinking about it since! I am super excited to be launching this new idea this coming January 2012! 

I will be doing a complete makeover to the blog, my etsy shop, and creating a new facebook and twitter page. The whole works. I am hoping to feature some really cool bloggers and I will be doing a really awesome giveaway!

I will be taking these next couple weeks getting everything ready and spending the Holidays with my family. I hope you all will check back then and enter in the giveaway{s} and have fun with me this coming year!

Elephants!!!!!

I have been hard at work on these babies! I am in love with them! I will posting the yellow polka dotted one and the pink/grey one on my etsy shop tonight (the linen one is for Kenny)!

Homemade Christmas!

Kenny is totally into balls lately. He likes to throw them and then chase after them. It's way adorable! I decided to go all out and make him some for Christmas! Lol. Here are my first attempts. Not too shabby. I still have to practice getting the stitches strait and somehow figure out how to press that curve! I love the final product though and have decided to add it to my shop. Yippee!
